7th Grade Project

Pegasus, 1959, by M.C. Escher

The seventh grade students are making a tessellations project that is due on Tuesday. We are using the slice method to create our art, but other methods are acceptable for independent work and extra credit. Students should have one complete shape ready to be copied tomorrow, and the tessellations will be assembled and colored in class. I have some poster boards (11x14) available, but will need a few more. If you are able to provide a small size poster board for your child, it would be greatly appreciated. I have colored pencils and glue sticks. The art portion of the project will be supported by a written document and diagram using the vocabulary that we have learned in class.
