Homework 6th and 7th grade

6th Grade - ACE starting on page 12, problems 2, 25, and 26
7th Grade - ACE starting on page 16, problems 9-19, 40-41, 44-47, and 49-51 as extra credit work. 7th Graders who did not complete the classwork on page 11 should also complete that at home.
Reminder: There is no school tomorrow, November 12, to allow for parent conferences.
Lunch menus were distributed today and are due back to the school with payment by Wednesday, November 18.

Homework 6th and 7th grade

6th - complete page 6 in Bits and Pieces book, then starting on page 12, ACE work problems 1 and 18. For extra challenge and extra credit, do problems 20-24.

7th - complete page 9 in Accentuate the Negative book, then starting on page 16, ACE work problems 1-8 and 39. For extra challenge and extra credit, do problem 48.

7th Grade Homework

We are beginning a new unit, Accentuate the Negative, which focuses on the use of positive and negative numbers. Each student received a new book today for this unit. The homework for tonight is to list five everyday situations for which positive and negative numbers represent gains and losses, respectively.

6th Grade Homework

We are beginning a new Unit, Bits and Pieces, which will focus on fractions, decimals, and percents. The homework tonight is for students to bring in an artifact (like a newspaper or magazine clipping) showing a decimal, fraction, or percent used in everyday life.
